Chester Township police say they responded to a call about a disturbance at Mayfield Church. Dispatch told responding officers that a tow truck driver who was in the process of repossessing a vehicle had been assaulted by two people. Preliminary investigations show the driver had successfully removed the vehicle and was securing it in the church parking lot when the incident began. Police say the driver was preparing to leave when a vehicle approached the truck and blocked the exit. Two people confronted the tow truck driver, officials say, one of which was armed with a handgun. Police report the armed suspect pointed the firearm at the tow truck driver and demanded the repossessed vehicle be released. The tow truck driver was physically assaulted, police say, and forcibly removed from the truck at gunpoint. The armed suspect fired in the direction of the victim before getting into the repossessed car and fleeing, police say. Wednesday, officers identified the suspects as Kevin and Ronald Delisio. Police confirmed they were arrested without incident. The two have been charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and aggravated menacing, but police say additional charges are likely as the investigation continues.
