Tow truck operator killed in a collision in Ottawa

A Tow Truck Operator was killed in an accident on Old Main Road in Ottawa - KZN.

 

Passing motorists contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) requesting urgent assistance at the scene.

 

Reaction Officers and RUSA Medics were immediately dispatched and on arrival discovered the driver of the white Isuzu tow truck lying in a prone position on the road.

 

He sustained life-threatening injuries and was declared deceased. He was the only occupant of the vehicle. 

 

It is believed that the vehicle collided into a metal barrier while travelling from Ottawa in the direction of Southridge - KZN.
