HOUSE VOTES • HOUSE BILL 2233: Allows tow truck drivers, when directed by an on-duty police officer, to violate traffic laws during the rescue or removal of a disabled vehicle. Pass 198-4. Moves to Senate. YEAS: State Rep. Frank Burns, D-East Taylor Township; state Rep. Jim Rigby, R-Ferndale; state Rep. Carl Metzgar, R- Somerset; state Rep. Dallas Kephart, R-Clearfield • HOUSE BILL 2251: Creates a timeline and requires PennDOT to execute steps necessary to process abandoned vehicles and certificates of salvage within 10 business days.
