WildwoodJack
It is a Vulcan. If it is an 882 it is rated for 8 tons. You could also get an 894 which was a10 ton boom with 8 thousand Lb. winches or the 10 thousand Lb. winches. We had both over the years and I do not think that one performed any better then the other one. One way to tell is the 882 had a smaller cross bar then the 894 on the wheel lift. Also the wheel lift scoops were different. If I remember right, the 882 scoops had a piece of flat steel welded to the bottom of the arm that slid into the receiver and the 894 did not. WildwoodJack
I looked up some old paper work. It could be an 892 and that was a 10 ton boom with 8000 Lb. winches and the 894 was the 10 ton boom with 10,000 Lb. winches. They were great wreckers and still are today.
